Schedule of Chinese women's volleyball match in 2018 women's Volleyball World Championships

Sihaiwang: on April 17, the group match of 2018 World Women's Volleyball Championship came out. China's women's volleyball team has met Cuba, Turkey, Canada and Bulgaria. On October 4, it will face the last group match against Italy. The Chinese team's group matches all started at 18:10 Beijing time.

The Chinese team's group match will be held in Sapporo from September 29 to October 4, with the national day off for one day.

Specific time of group match of China team:

September 29, 18:10: China vs Cuba

September 30 18:10: Turkey vs China

October 2 18:10: China vs Canada

October 3 18:10: China vs Bulgaria

October 4 18:10: Italy vs China

The world championship is divided into three stages. In the first stage, 24 teams are divided into four groups with six teams in each group. The first four teams of 16 teams are divided into two groups (the first four in group A and D, and the first four in group B and C). In the second stage, the round robin will continue. The first three teams of the two teams will enter the third stage and then be divided into two groups (the first team will enter two groups and the fourth team will be drawn). After the third stage of the round robin, the top two of the two teams enter the cross semi-finals until the champion is produced. There will be 103 games in all competitions.

The 2018 World Championships is the 18th championship since it was founded in 1952. Historically, Russia and the former Soviet Union have won the most world championships. The former Soviet Union won the championships five times in 1952, 1956, 1960, 1970 and 1990, while the Russian team reached the summit twice in 2006 and 2010. Japan and Cuba each won three titles, while Italy and the United States won in 2002 and 2014, respectively. The Chinese team won the championship for the first time in 1982, successfully defended the title in 1986 and became the first team in the history of World Volleyball to win five consecutive titles in the world cup, world championship and Olympic Games.

It is 32 years since China's women's volleyball team won the world championship last time in 2018. Now, under the leadership of coach Lang Ping, the women's volleyball team has won the world cup in 2015 and the Olympic Games in 2016. Next year, it will launch a strong impact on the three consecutive championships.
