Before being bitten to death by a snake, the Indian man was curious about how to deal with PA's emer

There is no wonder in the world that a man who is bitten by a poisonous snake doesn't want to see a doctor but bites his wife and wants to go to the yellow spring together! According to the Gulf News of the United Arab Emirates, an Indian man was bitten by a poisonous snake while sleeping. When he was dying, he ran to bite his wife's wrist for the reason that he didn't want to die alone. After the incident, the man was rescued by the hospital and his wife survived.

The accident happened on the 10th in the samspible area, 90 kilometers north of Patna. A villager was bitten by a poisonous snake while sleeping at night. When he got up in the morning, he found that his physical condition was more serious, and suddenly became very emotional. He realized that he might have been bitten by a poisonous snake and would soon be around his wife. He grabbed her hand and bit her down. Shortly afterwards, both men fell into coma and were immediately taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

How to deal with snake bite

1. Ligation: after being bitten, immediately eliminate the fear of the patient, keep quiet, stop the activities of the injured limb, place the injured limb at the lowest position, and ligate the upper part (near the heart) of the wound (about 10 cm) or the corresponding part of a joint on the wound with rubber band or grass rope, cloth strip, rattan, etc. in time. The degree of ligation requires that it can only block the return of lymph and venous blood, and not hinder the supply of arterial blood. After ligation, release once every 30 minutes, 2-3 minutes each time, so as not to affect blood circulation and cause tissue necrosis. Generally, after taking effective snake medicine for 3 hours, or injecting crystalline trypsin or anti snake venom serum, the ligation can be relieved. If the time of being bitten is more than 12 hours, ligation is not necessary.

2. Washing: after ligation, tap water, river water, well water and soap water can be used. It is better to wash the skin around the wound with 1 / 5000 potassium permanganate solution or hydrogen peroxide. The purpose is to destroy and wash away the venom adhering to the wound, so as to reduce snake poisoning.

3. Rapid diagnosis: when you don't see a snake, you should exclude the possibility of centipede, scorpion, wasp and other bites or stings. When you see a snake, you need to distinguish whether there is a viper or not. For the wound bitten by a viper, there are two obvious poisonous teeth marks in some parts, and there are local and systemic poisoning manifestations. For the non viper bite, there are four or two lines of serrated superficial and small teeth marks. There is only slight pain or a little bleeding in some parts, but it will disappear naturally soon without systemic poisoning symptoms. If possible, try to bring the injured snake body to the doctor for diagnosis.

4. Incision, washing, extrusion and detoxification: after local disinfection, remove the poisonous teeth that may be broken and left in the wound, and then use a sharp tool (such as a knife, etc.) to make a 'one' shaped vertical incision or a cross shaped incision along the tooth mark, about 1-1.5cm long, until the depth reaches below the skin, avoid the static pulse. It can also be used in combination with cupping and other negative pressure methods (snake venom emptier can be used), followed by 1 / 5000 potassium permanganate solution or 5% sodium edetate, hydrogen peroxide, etc., while washing, it can be squeezed repeatedly and gently from the proximal end of the injured limb to the wound direction and around, so as to make the venom discharged from the wound. The washing and extrusion should last for 20-30 minutes. After washing, the wound should be covered with seven layers of sterilized gauze, moistened, and the injured limbs should be kept at a low position, which is conducive to the continuous outflow of venom. However, in case of biting or bleeding after biting by five legged snake or bamboo leaf, it is generally not suitable to cut the wound to prevent bleeding.

5. Burn the wound and destroy the snake venom: after cutting and washing, 6-8 matches are used each time and placed on the wound, and burn repeatedly for 2-3 times. When snake venom encounters high fever, it will coagulate and be destroyed, so that it will lose its toxic effect. In case of being bitten by poisonous snakes or difficult emergency conditions in the field, the first aid can also be carried out by burning the wound alone.

6. Local ice application: soak limbs with ice, cold spring water or well water, so as to slow down the absorption of snake venom.
