2020 Wimbledon cancels the first suspension outside world war I and World War II
On April 1 local time, the all England Lawn Tennis Club announced that it would no longer hold the Wimbledon Tennis Championship in 2020. The 134th Wimbledon will be held from June 28 to July 11, 2021. This will be the only suspension in Wimbledon history except World War I and World War II. On the same day, ATP and WTA announced that all tournaments would be postponed to July 13, the second day after the closing of Wimbledon in 2020.
