Bayu said that some measures in the emergency law need the cooperation of the people, while others are mandatory. He suggested that people stay at home and reduce travel, especially the elderly over the age of 60 and children under the age of 5.
He said that the government will open more isolation centers and close more places one after another. If the epidemic situation does not improve in the future, further blockade measures will not be ruled out.
Bayu reminded that in a state of emergency, people should be particularly careful when posting on social media, and those who spread false content and rumors will be arrested and prosecuted. Similarly, those who take the opportunity to bid up prices will also be punished.
Recently, novel coronavirus pneumonia cases in Thailand have increased dramatically. As of that day, there were 827 confirmed cases in China, of which 4 died and 57 were cured and discharged.
