Two police cars collided in Chicago and six police officers were injured

According to CNN, the accident occurred on the evening of February 15 local time. A marked and unmarked police car collided at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Springfield Avenue, injuring six police officers.
It is reported that there are no traffic lights at the intersection where the collision occurred. At the time of the accident, the police officers on both vehicles were answering a police call for assistance.
Local police said that the six injured police officers are currently receiving treatment in the hospital, of which five are in stable condition and one is in serious condition.
