How to practice guitar for beginners

How to practice the basic skills of guitar is a very confusing thing. It seems that there is no way to start. Many guitar beginners are confused. They don't know how to practice guitar well. What are the basic skills of guitar? Today, Xiaobian sorted out the methods for beginners to practice guitar basic skills, hoping to help you.

Basic skill of guitar practice - climbing grid

Climbing grid is one of the items that every guitarist must practice every day. Its purpose is to exercise the flexibility of fingers and the cooperation of left and right hands. There are many kinds of practice methods. The most basic thing is to play 1 string 1234, followed by 2 string 1234, and then play 6 strings and then play back. Another is to play 1234 strings, then 2345 strings (here are 2, 3, 4 and 5 strings) and go up and back again. In order to practice finger coordination, many masters can play 132424134132 and other combinations. There are a total of 24 combinations.

The most basic thing is to play 1 string 1234, followed by 2 string 1234, and then play 6 strings and then play back. Another is to play 1234 strings, then 2345 strings, and then go up and back. In order to practice finger coordination, many people will play 132424134132 and other combinations.

On the guitar, the scientific name of "climbing grid" is chromatic scale practice. The basic practice methods are as follows:

A string of scrofula -- 1 -- 2 -- 3 -- 4-----|

Two stringed scrotum -- 5 -- 6 -- 7 -- 8-----|

Three strings -- 9 --- 10 --- 11 --- 12----|

Four stringed scrotum -- 13 --- 14 --- 15 --- 16----|

Wuxian -- 17 --- 18 --- 19 --- 20----|

Six stringed scrotum -- 21 ---- 22 ---- 23 ---- 24----|

A string of scrofula -- 4 -- 3 -- 2 -- 1-----|

Five stringed scrofula -- 8 -- 7 -- 6 -- 5-----|

Six stringed scrofula -- 4 -- 3 -- 2 -- 1-----|

The numbers here are not products. They are in the order of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & hellip; & hellip;, 21, 22, 23, 24. One to six strings are from thin to thick. This is the most basic lattice climbing method, because each product is played in sequence, and each string is in the same order. The training speed is 8-12 grades, and the expansion of fingers is 1-4 grades. Most of them are in ascending and descending order, as shown in the figure above. In order to save space, I will draw a sequence diagram below, and other orders can be arranged by myself.

1, 2, 3 and 4 represent index finger (I), middle finger (m), ring finger (a) and small finger (CH), respectively

1234、1243、1324、1342、1423、1432

2134、2143、2314、2341、2413、2431

3124、3142、3214、3241、3412、3421

4123、4132、4213、4231、4312、4321

Above are all the permutations. There are two ways to practice.

1. Practice a sequence on all six strings,

The basic method mentioned above is to play 1234 and 4321 on all six strings.

2. Practice a group of changes on a certain string (usually a string), such as those starting with 1:

1234、1243、1324、1342、1423、1432

You may not be proficient in practice. You can say it with your mouth and press the string.

Say 1 press index finger, 2 press middle finger, 3 press ring finger, 4 press little finger.

In this way, it can give the brain a reminder of the process of acceptance, and gradually it can be practiced.

Each of them can be confused to practice, not necessarily the order I wrote.

There can also be regular alternating exercises, such as:

1234, 4321, 1243, 3421, in reverse order, two arrangements playing together.

From regular to irregular, from playing to thinking of a kind of order that can be played out immediately.

Let's talk about the right hand alone. The left hand is as described above. The right hand is generally the alternate play of the index finger and the middle finger. If you need to practice the independence of the middle finger and the ring finger, you can also alternate the middle finger and the ring finger, that is, Ma Ma Ma. There are many other methods, such as ia ia, I ma mi am

Basic skill for beginners of guitar - sweep string

I. there are generally two ways to sweep the string with fingers:

(1) thumb sweep

The fingers are naturally extended and slightly arc-shaped. All the anti chord movements are completed with thumbs. This technique has a full sweep sound and good integrity. The disadvantage is that the tone is not uniform and the brightness is poor once in a while.

② the thumb and index finger are crossed to form a 'cross'. The other fingers are bird like (naturally close together). When you hit down, use the back of index finger nail, and when you hit up, use the back of thumb nail. This kind of sweeping sound is crisp and bright, with unified timbre. The disadvantage is that the sound is slightly thin.

Second, in addition to sweeping the rhythm, the quality of timbre is also an important standard to measure the level of a guitarist. There are two main problems that guitar lovers love to make when sweeping strings:

① the voice is fragmented and turbid, and the timbre is very different from one time to the next, especially when the first string is in the upper chord, which gives a sudden feeling.

② when sweeping the strings, the fingers of the right hand did not hold the strings or did not eat enough strings. The voice was frivolous and lacked tension.

Third, the correct sweeping of strings pays great attention to unity and coordination. The touch angle, touch track and touch depth of arms, wrists and fingers have a direct impact on the timbre of sweeping strings. A beautiful sweep requires all of the above to be at its best.

① when sweeping strings, the movement of the right hand should be dominated by the wrist, and the small arm of the right hand is driven by the swing of the wrist. The wrist must be relaxed, but there should be some control, which is a difficulty. You have to repeatedly look at the mirror and shake your hands to feel it. Until your wrist posture is natural and unrestrained, relaxed and elastic, and well controlled, it is qualified.

(2) the angle of contact between the finger back and the chord is also very important. It should not be a right angle, but an acute angle of about 60 degrees. Figuratively speaking, the index fingernail (or thumb pad) slightly lets in when it comes down out of the string, and the thumb fingernail slightly lets in when it hits the string up. The purpose of "letting" is to make sure that the back of the fingernail rather than the tip of the fingernail touches the string.

③ the trace of fingernail back sweeping should be arc, not straight up and down. When the string is going down, draw a circle towards the head of the instrument, and when the string is going up, draw a circle towards the code.

(4) the touch depth between fingers and strings also has a great influence on timbre. Touch string too deep fingers are easy to trip on a string, resulting in sound breaking, too shallow will not be able to eat string, the voice will be frivolous and lack of tension.

⑤ remember that the sound effect of a chord should be holistic, and the feeling of sweeping a chord should be 'one piece at a time' rather than 'one piece at a time'. It needs more brains and practice.

Practice method of guitar finger independence

(1) left middle finger press: the left middle finger presses a certain item of the sixth string (the thickest string) of the guitar, the right hand uses the thumb to play hard, and keeps the pronunciation all the time, then, the left index finger and ring finger, and then successively moves a string (the thinnest string). It can be played into three beats. The first beat is when the left middle finger presses 6 strings and the right hand makes a sound. This sound should last for three beats; the second beat is when the left index finger bends and dials; the third beat is when the left ring finger dials. We must practice slowly, that is, we must play three beats slowly. Then, practice in each position.

This is the practice of finger press, its adjacent index finger and ring finger can be raised in reverse.

Be careful:

1. For the pressed fingers, each joint should have a certain degree of curvature. Each joint should neither be too straight nor too curved. It is forbidden to have an unnatural shape where one joint of the same finger is very straight and the other joint is very curved. Do not press the strings with your fingertips, but between your fingertips and your belly. The pressed fingers should be parallel to the piano.

2. For the fingers with left hand plucking, the fingertip (fingernail) should be perpendicular to the fingerboard and strings of the piano - the difficulty is just here - the big knuckle of the fingers with left hand plucking is almost negative bending (i.e. bending to the back of the hand), while the big knuckle of the fingers with left hand adjacent pressing is positive bending (i.e. bending to the palm) - the adjacent finger nerves exert completely reverse force to separate the nerves.

(2) left ring finger press: the same as above, except that the upper middle finger is replaced by the ring finger, while the index finger is replaced by the middle finger and the ring finger is replaced by the small finger. The requirements are the same.

Obviously, the difficulty has increased, and many people will feel the huge involvement of the adjacent fingers. At the beginning of the practice, when one finger of the left hand plucks the string, the pressed finger can use a little thrust to offset the pull.

(3) left little finger pressing: the same as above, except that there is only one ring finger adjacent to the little finger, and generally the little finger is short, so it is not necessary to press the sixth string, but the fifth string must be pressed, and then the ring finger moves a string. The requirements are the same as above. The middle or small joints of the little finger are very difficult to maintain the corresponding radian, so pay more attention.

For such a large span, if many beginners find it too difficult, they can press the string closer to the first string first, and then gradually move away from the first string after training.

Practice time: this practice is highly competitive and efficient, which can greatly shorten the practice time of pure mechanical skills. Concentrate on practicing for 15 minutes a day, and you will get obvious results in a few days. Generally speaking, the practice time of ring finger pressing is longer than that of middle finger pressing, while the practice of small finger pressing needs more time --- to enhance the strength of weak finger pressing and make the pressing strength of each finger as average as possible.

Right hand: the above exercises apply to the right hand as well. Hold the guitar back, press the fingerboard, string and pluck with your right hand. The finger type, movement and practice method are exactly the same as the requirements of the left hand above (only the actual pronunciation is different, the fingers pressed with your right hand press the treble string, and the fingers plucked with your right hand pull the lowest string). Many guitarists are not able to press and stretch the strings when they touch the strings with their right hands, and the voice volume is influenced by the head. This practice of practicing guitar can solve this problem very well: the finger force of the right hand, independence, the habit of pressing the strings, the nerve separation of adjacent fingers, etc., all have great advantages, and the efficiency is very high, almost with the miraculous effect of standing up and seeing the shadow.

In addition, if you play the piano and only the guitar, you don't need to practice the little finger press of your right hand.

In the fingering arrangement of the official repertoire, in addition to the needs of music, the average use of each finger should also be considered, so that the click rate of each finger does not vary too much, otherwise the average strength of each finger will be affected.
