Don't worry about throwing the pillowcase yellow. Here are some tips for making the pillowcase clean as new

Sihaiwang: because the pillowcase is in direct contact with our head, and there are many pores on our scalp. When we sleep, the pores will discharge oil substances and some exfoliated epidermal cells, which is even more serious for those with oily skin. When these grease and epidermal cells get on the pillowcase, on the one hand, they will attach a lot of dust to the pillowcase, on the other hand, they will make the pillowcase smell bad. Long term deposit will cause the pillowcase to turn yellow.

Correct cleaning method:

1. Sun the Yellow Pillowcase for 1-2 hours in the hot sun. Exposure to the sun will kill the dust and dust mites on the bedspread, and make the Yellow trace easier to clean.

2. Soak the pillowcase immediately after exposure to the sun. It is better to soak it in warm water or hot water. When soaking, a little detergent should be added, generally more than 1 hour.

3. After soaking, whether hand washing or machine washing, wash it with detergent first to remove the basic sweat spots. Then, wash it with detergent once again to remove the accumulation of sebum on the pillowcase. If the yellow is still stubborn, you can find a brush, and then wash the detergent several times.

Pillow case hair yellow Cleaning Tips

Boiled method

If the pillow cover material is heat-resistant, it can be boiled with water after exposure to the sun. Put detergent and pillow case into boiling water and cook for a period of time, then pull them out and wash them or brush them with a brush to observe the cleaning effect. If the effect is not achieved, put them in to continue cooking, so repeatedly, until satisfied.

White electric oil scrubbing method

Wash the yellowing part with white electric oil repeatedly. It should be noted that white electric oil is harmful to human body, and it is better to wear gloves during cleaning. After cleaning, the pillowcase must be dried in an open place for enough time to allow the white oil to evaporate completely. It is better to wash it with water.

Bleach Bleaching

If the pillowcase is solid or light colored, and the cloth is dyed firmly and resistant to strong oxidant, it can be soaked or boiled with bleaching agent (bleaching essence, bleaching water, bleaching powder, etc. for washing), which is the most effective method and can completely remove the yellow. Never use bleach on pillowcases at will. Fabrics that are not resistant to strong oxidants may be discarded after bleaching. Pillowcases with many designs and colors may be totally different after bleaching.

White vinegar soaking

Soak in white vinegar for half an hour first, then change water and soak in washing powder or washing liquid. Fill the basin with water, add a small amount of washing powder or washing liquid, and then fully dissolve it. Then put the pillowcase into it and the yellowing substance will be washed out. If the problem of yellowing is more serious, soak it for a while. Remember to change the water after soaking for more than 12 hours.

Rice washing water

This method is suitable for pillowcases when they just turn yellow. Its advantage is that it is not irritating to human skin, but its cleaning effect is not so strong. But when the pillowcase is just beginning to turn yellow and the color is not deep, it is suitable to use it for cleaning.

Shampoo wash

Shampoos are the cleaners that wash off the grease that your hair secretes. The reason of pillow case yellowing is mainly from sweat and oil secreted by hair, which oxidizes on cloth for a long time. So it's just right to use your own shampoo.
