Haze days affect human physical and mental health. In order to prevent excessive haze absorption, the simplest and most convenient thing is masks. There are basically four kinds of anti haze masks on the market, and their effects are introduced as follows:
1. Cotton mask
It can filter some dust and bacteria, but for inhalable particles in the air, the filtration rate of cotton mask is less than 30%.
2. Medical surgical mask
It is divided into medical disposable mask and N95 mask. Relatively speaking, the anti haze effect of N95 mask is more ideal, but it can not completely "shut out" small particles. Moreover, the edge of this kind of mask does not fit the face shape and can only play the role of general shielding.
3. Activated carbon mask
A thin layer of activated carbon or other gas absorbing materials can reduce peculiar smell, but the protective effect on particulate matter is not good.
4. Particle respirator
The anti particulate respirator is a kind of respiratory protective articles, which adopts special filter materials. The main protective objects are particulate matter, including dust, fog, smoke and microorganisms.
