II. 2015 Luoyang Peony Festival - Wangcheng Park

Located in the center of Luoyang City, on the site of the King City of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, covering an area of more than 1000 mu, it is the birthplace of Luoyang Peony Fair and the largest comprehensive park in Luoyang. There is a strong cultural atmosphere in the park, with ancient pavilions, pavilions, lakes and national peonies. There are nearly 100000 peonies planted and more than 800 peony varieties. Its Yao Huang, Wei Zi and other varieties are particularly precious. In the park, there are the ruins of the city wall of the king of Zhou, the stone sculptures of Hetu Luoshu, the zoo, the playground and so on. The QIANZI peony garden of Luoyang Sui Tang City Heritage botanical garden is the youngest of many Luoyang Peony gardens. Among them, the hundred flower garden includes all kinds of peonies in the Central Plains, the northwest, the south of the Yangtze River, the southwest and many kinds of peonies with foreign characteristics.

There is an octagonal nine color platform in the garden. Each side of the platform is divided into nine layers, and peonies of different shapes are planted. After reasonable control and careful maintenance, during the flower fair, the peonies of nine color systems, such as red, pink, purple, yellow, white, blue, green, ink and multi-color, are presented in front of the tourists at the same time, which is called "nine color platform".
