The new technology enables the liver to survive in vitro for 7 days and be renewable

On January 13, the journal Nature Biotechnology published a new study. Experts from the University of Zurich invented a new instrument, which can make the liver survive in vitro for one week. The instrument can also repair the damage of the liver, remove the fat deposition in the liver, and even regenerate part of the liver, so that more donor livers can be used for organ transplantation.
