On January 12, Wuyishan National Park Administration issued a notice that an investigation team had been established and rushed to the scene to verify the relevant situation. After investigation, the relevant water intake is not within the scope of Wuyishan National Park, more than 50 meters away from the park boundary.
Wuyishan National Park Administration said that Wuyishan National Park will further strengthen publicity and inspection, and timely discover and dispose of acts damaging natural resources and natural environment within the scope of Wuyishan National Park according to law.

First, a dam with a length of about 30 meters is planned to be built in the river channel of da'anyuan group, Da'an village, Yangzhuang Township, Wuyishan City. At present, the water intake has sorted out a small section of the river channel, laid some cement water blocking belts and four pipelines. After verification, the water intake point is not within the scope of Wuyishan National Park, more than 50 meters away from the park boundary.
Second, trees were destroyed in the forest land close to the water intake point, and a construction access road with a length of about 200 meters was built. It is verified that the access road has been built, and the length is about 150m after field measurement. However, the access road was built in October 2019, and the area was not included in Wuyishan National Park at that time. The master plan of Wuyishan National Park approved by Fujian Provincial People's Government on December 25, 2019 is newly transferred to the scope of the National Park. The deforestation has been investigated by Wuyishan Forest Public Security Department on November 18, 2019.
Third, the original bamboo production access road of Da'an village da'anyuan group is used to transport construction materials to the water intake point. This original access road is connected with the construction access road newly built by Nongfu mountain spring company. After verification, the access road is about 2km long and has been used for a long time as the only way for moso bamboo production by da'anyuan group of Da'an village. According to the approved master plan of Wuyishan National Park, the area has been transferred into the scope of Wuyishan National Park. Nongfu mountain spring company transported construction materials from the access road during construction, but did not widen and renovate the access road, nor did it damage the surrounding environment such as trees along the access road.
