According to media reports on January 9, Maesa elephant camp in Chiang Mai, Thailand was attacked by charities for keeping elephants in captivity and allowing them to perform for tourists. One of the attacks is to bring foot chains to elephants. Now Maesa elephant camp has untied the foot chains of 77 elephants so that they can move freely in the camp.
