Is it true that people who drink and blush are prone to fracture

4hw.org: many people will blush as long as they drink a little. We call it the top. It's said that it's easier to drink than the top. In fact, it's because the top doesn't volatilize alcohol when drinking. Recent studies have shown that people who drink easily blush are not only unable to drink, but also prone to fracture. What's the matter? Let's take a look at it!

People who drink alcohol and blush easily are more likely to have hip fractures because of genetic factors, Japanese researchers said in a study published in the British Journal of scientific report.

Acetaldehyde is produced in the metabolism of people who consume alcohol, the researchers said. In the process of decomposition of acetaldehyde, the body needs acetaldehyde dehydrogenase 2 to play a role. But people who drink alcohol and blush easily are genetically deficient in this enzyme. The deficiency of this enzyme makes acetaldehyde easy to accumulate in the body, and then affects the function of osteoblasts that generate bone.

By comparing the genes of 92 patients with hip fracture and 48 normal people, researchers from Keio University and other institutions in Japan found that the risk of hip fracture was 2.48 times of that of normal people.
