According to the application submitted by operators to the Ministry of industry and information technology, China's three major operators will carry out 5g pilot in 13 cities, including beishangguangshen, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Chengdu, Tianjin, Nanjing and other cities. Among them, mobile will first conduct 5g test in Hangzhou, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Suzhou and Wuhan. The pilot cities of China Unicom are Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Nanjing and xiong'an; the pilot cities of China Telecom are Chengdu, xiong'an, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Suzhou and Lanzhou. It is worth noting that in many cities, Shanghai is the only one where the three major operators are all pilot cities.
