Recently, the nature index published the ranking of universities and institutions from October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019: in the comprehensive ranking, the Chinese Academy of Sciences has occupied the top for many years, followed by Harvard University and Max ‧ Planck Association. Peking University ranks 9th and Tsinghua University ranks 10th. A total of 6 universities and institutions in China have entered the top 20.
