From 2009 to 2019, the Qinshihuang Mausoleum Museum conducted the third official excavation of Pit 1. The excavation location was located at T23, with an excavation area of 400 square meters. More than 220 terracotta figures, 12 pottery horses, 2 vehicle tracks, as well as a large number of weapons and architectural relics were excavated, and many new materials were obtained. The new archaeological discovery of the terracotta warriors and horses unearthed a large number of cultural relics and painted pottery figurines, including five levels: senior military official figurines, intermediate military official figurines, lower military official figurines, lower military official figurines and general warrior figurines. Among them, the terracotta figures of lower and lower military officials are the newly discovered terracotta figures, which provides a new basis and method for the arrangement of terracotta pit army array.
