How many minutes does Tangyuan need to boil

Fresh glutinous rice balls: Boil the fresh glutinous rice balls for about 7 minutes. It's almost good to see them floating.

Quick frozen glutinous rice balls: they take about 10 minutes to cook. First, take out the quick-frozen dumpling and put it in the room temperature. When the water boils, put the dumpling in. When the dumpling floats, add cold water once and then float.

How long does it take for the Tangyuan to ripen

1. Put a proper amount of cold water (depending on the quantity you cook) in the pot, and then boil it.

2. Put the glutinous rice balls or Lantern Festival into boiling water and cook.

3. When the water boils again, add a spoonful of cold water to keep it boiling. So three times, the water boils again and the Tangyuan or Lantern Festival has risen, you can eat it!

How to cook Tangyuan without breaking

1. Knead gently: before cooking, knead the dumpling gently with your hand to make it slightly cracked. The dumpling cooked in this way is easy to be cooked inside and outside, soft, smooth and delicious.

2. Under the water: Boil the water with a strong fire, then put the dumpling into the pot, gently push it with the back of the spoon, let the dumpling rotate a few times, it will not stick to the bottom of the pot.

3. Slow cooking: after the dumpling is boiled in the pot until it floats up, it should be quickly changed to slow cooking. If it is still cooked in a strong fire, the dumpling will break if it rolls continuously. If the dumplings keep turning and heating unevenly, they are easy to be cooked outside and hard inside.

4. Add cold water: after the dumpling is put into the pot, add a proper amount of cold water every time it is boiled to keep it in a rolling and non rolling state. After boiling for two or three times, cook it for a while, and then fish it out for food. The dumplings cooked in this way are soft, not hard, sweet and delicious.

5. Change soup frequently: after two or three pots of Tangyuan are boiled, the soup thickens, greatly constraining the activity of water molecules, so it should be changed before cooking. Otherwise, it will ripen slowly and easily.
