At about 10:43 a.m. on December 17, a mountain collapse occurred in the mine of Anluyuan machine-made sand Co., Ltd. in Xinxing Town, Songyang County, Zhejiang Province. After preliminary investigation, 17 on-site construction workers were found, 3 lost contact, and others were evacuated safely. The company's plant (about 2000 square meters) was buried.
After the incident, the main leaders of the county Party committee and government immediately organized fire control, public security, emergency management and Xinxing town to rush to the scene at the first time to search for the missing persons. At present, all efforts are being made to search and rescue. The preliminary judgment of the cause of the landslide is that the weather is continuously abnormally dry, resulting in mountain loosening.
