Liu Yongfu said that at present, although the number of remaining poor people is small, the task of tackling tough problems in deep poverty-stricken areas is still arduous, which is also the focus of our main attack. Some of the "Three Guarantees" and drinking water safety problems in these areas have not been completely solved, some infrastructure and industrial development foundation are weak, and some endogenous power is insufficient, which are consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation The task of preventing return to poverty is still very arduous.
Liu Yongfu said that next year is the end of the fight against poverty. We should ensure that the fight against poverty is fully completed as scheduled and concentrate our forces to fight the war of annihilation of deep poverty. In the next step, we should speed up poverty alleviation in deep poverty-stricken areas such as the "three districts and three states"; Establish a monitoring and early warning mechanism for poverty prevention and a long-term mechanism for stabilizing poverty eradication, consolidate the results of poverty eradication and prevent poverty return; Deepen poverty alleviation cooperation between the East and the West and targeted poverty alleviation, and help the industrial development of the western region; Organize and carry out the "look back" work of poverty alleviation, check the leftovers and make up the omissions, and find and solve problems in time. At the same time, we should also explore how to solve the problem of relative poverty after winning the battle against poverty.
Liu Yongfu said that poverty alleviation is not only the responsibility of the government, but also the common task of the whole society. It needs to give play to the positive role of social organizations, but also the joint efforts of members and social forces. Therefore, it is necessary to gather resources and projects to deep poverty-stricken areas, focus on groups with special difficulties, design and implement key projects according to households and people, make accurate efforts and have a definite goal. We should pool social resources so that everyone can do what everyone wants and can do in social poverty alleviation.
It is understood that in 2020, China Association for the promotion of poverty alleviation voluntary services will focus on the reality of poverty alleviation, complete the treatment of about 300000 documented cataract patients, and strive to treat 20000 poor patients with moderate and severe ankylosing spondylitis.
