Apple returned to ces to discuss its position on consumer privacy

On the morning of December 10, Beijing time, Apple will officially return to the CES conference in Las Vegas for the first time in decades, but the purpose of their trip is to discuss their position on consumer privacy, not to promote new hardware products.

According to the CES agenda, Jenny & middot, senior director of Apple privacy; Jane Horvath will speak at CES's' round table of Chief Privacy officers' on January 7.

Hovas will discuss with Facebook, P & G and a member of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) how the company establishes privacy in terms of size, regulations and consumer needs.

Apple's last official appearance on CES was in 1992, when John & middot, then CEO of the company; John Sculley gave a speech at the Chicago summit at that time and introduced the Newton equipment that ended in failure.

Recently, although Apple has not officially sent its CEO to attend, its technology has always influenced this consumer electronics event. Last year, it advertised on a billboard during CES: 'what happens on the iPhone only stays on the iPhone.' Samsung and LG are also promoting Apple's direct streaming video service on third-party TV.

Every year, accessory manufacturers fill the CES showroom with Apple device enclosures and other peripherals. Behind the scenes, Apple's managers will also walk around the hall to determine the future technology and examine the competition pattern, and Apple's supply chain team members will also meet with parts manufacturers to purchase parts for future equipment.

While Apple held various background meetings, competitors including Google, Microsoft and Amazon have used the event to promote their latest voice control products, stimulate the interest of potential partners and try to beat apple.
