The big bird puppeteer of Sesame Street died at the age of 85

Carol Spinney, the famous puppeteer of Sesame Street, died at the age of 85. He died at his home in Connecticut after suffering from dystonia. Spinney has been playing and dubbing 'big bird' and 'Oscar' for nearly 50 years. He retired in October last year. He is a symbolic puppet teacher of these two roles. He has won the lifelong achievement award issued by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. His interpretation has entered the hearts of many children and adults. Spinney also appeared in the "Sesame Street" special program "big bird in China" CO produced by China and the United States in the 1980s.
