Foshan mountain fire has been controlled, and two fires in Guangdong have been controlled

According to the national news network of the voice of China of China, in recent days, forest fires have occurred in Gaoming District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province and Lianping County, Heyuan, Guangdong Province. At present, the two fires have been controlled.

At 13:53 on December 5, a mountain fire occurred near Lingyun mountain Yingang reservoir, Hecheng street, Gaoming District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, and the fire spread rapidly. The local emergency management department and the militia of Foshan military sub district quickly put into rescue. Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Jiangmen and other places also sent forest fire brigade to the local rescue.

After nearly three days of intense fire fighting, the open fires on the west, East and North lines of Gaoming mountain fire have been basically extinguished, and the fire has been gradually controlled. As of noon today (7th), 1101 people had been evacuated from Gaoming District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. No casualties have been reported so far.

Also on the 5th, a forest fire broke out in Gaoguan Town, Lianping County, Guangdong Province. After the disaster, 150 national forest fire rescue teams, 500 local professional rescue teams and 3 helicopters quickly dispatched to carry out three-dimensional operation on the site. The fire was successfully put out at 11:15 today. At present, no casualties have been reported.

Since September, there have been few typhoons, strong subtropical high and weak cold air intensity in Guangdong, resulting in rare dry weather. A total of 84 cities and counties in Guangdong Province launched forest fire risk early warning. Previous drought monitoring showed that most of Guangdong had moderate or above meteorological drought, and some areas in eastern Guangdong, such as Chaozhou and Shantou, had severe meteorological drought.
