in order to make travel safer, '3D zebra crossing' has been launched in many countries. Recently, a '3D zebra crossing' also appeared on the streets of Bangkok, Thailand, which looks like 'floating' in the air, very eye-catching.

Outside a school on the outskirts of Bangkok, passers-by seemed to walk through a zebra crossing on a 'stone slab' hanging in the air. In fact, this is a zebra crossing with 3D visual effect. On the ground, there is also a cartoon character to remind passing vehicles to slow down or stop.

Bangkok resident: I think it's a great idea. When I see it (3D zebra crossing), it's like seeing people walking over the road, which will arouse my idea.

Bangkok high school students: drivers can see the gestures of cartoon characters on the ground to stop, and students will pay more attention to traffic safety at the intersection.

According to reports, this zebra crossing is painted by about 50 students and volunteers. In the crowded streets, such a zebra crossing suddenly appears in front of us. It is estimated that many drivers will slow down involuntarily and confirm it, which is also the original intention of the creator.

According to the data released by Thailand's national health and safety administration in November, more than 10000 pedestrian related traffic accidents have occurred in Thailand in the past four years, of which more than 900 people have been killed.

In order to improve road traffic safety, the project team came up with the idea of creating '3D zebra crossing'. At present, they have completed six such zebra crossings and another three will be completed soon.
