Netease and the laid-off employee settled the misunderstanding and reached a settlement

Recently, the issue of Netease's violent layoffs came out on the Internet. An article entitled "Netease layoffs, let the security guard drive me out of the company with a terminal illness. A former Netease employee said that "when suffering from a terminal illness, he personally experienced coercion, calculation, surveillance, framing, threats, and even was driven out of the company by security guards".

Netease officials quickly responded, apologized to the former colleague and his family, and admitted that 'after reflecting on our communication and handling process, the relevant personnel did have many inappropriate behaviors such as simplicity, rudeness and inhumanity', but also pointed out that the employee's performance was really unqualified after review.

Subsequently, Netease also announced the communication process between the company and the employee for up to 8 months, but the content was very different from that of the dismissed employee.
