Five step cardiopulmonary resuscitation operation method and process

we often see people fainting, cardiac arrest and respiratory arrest on the news. At this time, cardiopulmonary resuscitation is needed to help patients recover their spontaneous breathing, pulse and heartbeat. So how should cardiopulmonary resuscitation operate? This article brings you a five step cardiopulmonary resuscitation method. Let's learn about it. However, it should be reminded that cardiopulmonary resuscitation also has very high requirements for professionalism. We need to practice repeatedly to reach professional standards before we can apply it to the actual action of saving people.

Five step procedure of cardiopulmonary resuscitation

1. Judgment consciousness: tap the patient on both shoulders and call in both ears. If the patient is awake, continue to observe. If there is no response, it will be coma and proceed to the next process.

2. Help: shout for help: 'come on, someone fainted.' Then contact 120 for help and immediately carry out cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

3. Check and unblock the respiratory tract: remove the foreign body in the mouth and remove the secretion. Push your forehead with one hand to tilt your head back as much as possible, and lift your chin up with the other hand.

4. Artificial respiration: judge whether there is breathing: first, look, listen and feel (maintain the posture of opening the respiratory tract, put the ear on the patient's mouth and nose), and first, see whether the patient's chest fluctuates; Second, listen: whether there is breathing sound; Three senses: approach the patient's mouth and nose with his cheek and feel whether there is exhaled airflow. If there is no breathing, give artificial respiration twice immediately, keep the technique of pressing the forehead and lifting the chin, pinch the patient's nostrils with the hand pressing the forehead, open the mouth to cover the patient's lips, blow air, and watch the patient's thorax with the corners of the eyes. It is effective if the thorax expands. When the chest descends, take a second breath.

5. Extrathoracic cardiac compression: cardiac compression site - the lower half of sternum, the center of chest and the midpoint of the connecting line between two nipples. Lean your shoulders forward just above the patient's chest, keep your waist straight, take your hips as the axis, press down vertically with the weight of the whole upper body, overlap the palm roots of your hands, buckle your fingers, and press with the palm roots. Your arms should be straight and your elbows should not be bent. Generally speaking, the ratio of cardiac compression to artificial respiration is 30:2.

Precautions: keep calm and hang up after 120 dispatcher asks clearly.
