It is reported that, compared with the deadly violence in various parts of the country before the Afghan presidential election, the situation in Afghanistan, especially the capital Kabul, has been relatively calm recently after the election voting on September 28, 2019. However, on October 18, a vicious bombing attack that killed and injured more than 100 people still occurred in Nangarhar province in the east of the country. At present, the results of this round of elections have not been announced.
