According to Thai media reports, the apartment at the scene of the incident is an office that helps tourists handle passports and visas. After the police arrived at the scene, they found that the victim had more than 10 knife wounds on his neck, face and body, and fell on the chair in the room, surrounded by blood. Police also found a bloodstained knife in the indoor bathroom. After investigation, the deceased lived and worked in Thailand for many years, mainly handling visas for tourists.
The Chinese Embassy in Thailand said that after the case occurred, the embassy attached great importance to it, launched the emergency mechanism at the first time, urgently made representations to the Thai police, asked them to seize the time to solve the case and punish the murderer according to law.
