The exchange limit of the first special-shaped commemorative coin "Taishan coin" per person is 20

China will launch special-shaped commemorative coins for the first time. It is reported that this is an ordinary commemorative coin, referred to as' Taishan coin '.

As the name suggests, 'Taishan coin' will engrave the miniature image of Taishan, the world cultural and natural heritage, on the back of the coin. Taishan pine and cypress, Taishan sunrise, mountain Porter, Taishan stone carvings, Nantianmen, eighteen plates and Yuhuangding constitute a very harmonious and interesting picture.

The front design is basically the same as the previous design, and the main body is the national emblem of the people's Republic of China.

In terms of overall appearance and material, the style of 'Taishan coin' is round square, the diameter of circumscribed circle is 30mm, and the material is brass alloy.

Its denomination is 5 yuan and the total number of issued pieces is 120 million. With the second-generation ID card, the exchange limit is 20 pieces per person.

From November 21 to 24, citizens can make an appointment for registration through the official website of large banks or the business outlets where they undertake on-site appointment registration. From November 28 to December 1, there is an appointment for the exchange of Taishan coins.

Commemorative coins issued by major banks have a certain collection value because of their scarcity and aesthetic value. It is reported that the central bank has previously issued other special-shaped commemorative coins, such as plum blossom, heart and fan, but most of these commemorative coins are precious metal commemorative coins made of gold and silver. Last year, the central bank also issued RMB 70th anniversary coins and commemorative coins to celebrate the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up.

As of July this year, the total number of world heritage sites in China has reached 55, ranking first in the world. Among them, Mount Tai is one of the only four double heritages (World Cultural and natural double heritages) in China.
