The past week has been the most dangerous week in Venice, Italy, since 1872. In seven days, the water level in the city exceeded 1.4m four times. The flood killed two people, damaged many main streets and the famous historical landmark St. Mark's Cathedral, and the property loss is expected to reach hundreds of millions of euros. It is expected that the water level in the city will remain at a high level of 1.1m from November 18 to 19.
