Sure enough, at the bus Yuquan station at the gate of the botanical garden, near the intersection of Yugu road and Yuquan Road, you can vaguely see a small building halfway up the mountain.
Walk up the flagstone Road, winding all the way. Insects can't be heard in the roadside trees. There is a small building that looks very dilapidated in the green trees on the hillside. If you are not in the golden area of the West Lake scenic spot, you will think you have seen the old house in the mountains and forests.
Before reaching the small building, the reporter met a couple who went down the mountain along the slate Road, 'it's a big square here, without a house'. The dilapidated house was completely ignored.
The reporter continued to walk to the small building, more and more 'overgrown with weeds'. Come closer, it's really shabby! The villa is divided into three rows of buildings. The front row is a sloping bungalow with brick and wood structure. On the rusty gate, there is also a couplet of "safe access". An old wire hangs from the door, and a thick spider web is formed at the foot of the door and the corner of the wall.
The door is locked. Through the thick gap between your fingers, you can see that there is a house full of dust, only a bed of bedding and a few daily necessities. Everything in the house seems so depressed, except an octagonal retro chandelier with the style of the Republic of China.
Behind are two rows of buildings. The middle row is only broken walls. It doesn't look like a house at all. The skeleton of the back row of houses is still there, but it has withered. The white walls are mottled, the tiles are scattered, the red paint door has broken two holes, and the windows have become empty shelves. One wall has also cracked a large piece, exposing the bamboo strips in the partition of the old bottom wall.
There is a yard in front of the villa. It can be seen that it was originally a garden, but now it has become a wasteland. I don't know who 'opened up the wasteland' in one corner of the yard and planted several rows of small vegetable seedlings.

The second year after their marriage, Cai Yuanpei gave his daughter a sum of money and the savings of his son-in-law Lin Wenzheng. The villa was built in the 1930s.
At that time, this style of house was called 'foreign house'. This foreign-style house has black tiles and pink walls, mud walls and wooden floors, scattered from top to bottom. It is said that this house is almost the work of CAI William, a famous female painter of the Republic of China. She designed the wall, window flowers and iron door herself.

In 1939, William Tsai died of puerperal fever, leaving six children.

The tenant Li has rented and used the house on the south side of the property since 1991.
In October 1992, Lin Zhenming's sister, Lin Tanwei, signed a real estate transfer contract with Li, which agreed that Li would pay Lin Tanwei 50000 yuan. Since January 2006, Lin Zhengming and his spouse requested Li to move out through litigation and application for execution, but Li refused to cooperate.
In July 2010, Lin Zhengming and his spouse transferred the House No. 1, Yuquan Road to Mr. and Mrs. Zhang at the price of 10 million yuan, and went through the formalities of property right transfer registration.
From 2006 to 2014, Li fought three lawsuits with Lin Zhengming and his wife, Lin Tanwei (Lin Zhengming's sister) and the then Hangzhou housing management department. Finally, the court ruled that the house sales contract between Zhang and Lin Zhengming was valid.
In November 2015, Zhang and his wife sued to the West Lake court, demanding that Li vacate the house immediately and compensate the economic loss of 2 million yuan.
After hearing, the West Lake court ruled that Li vacated house 1, Yuquan Road and compensated Mr. and Mrs. Zhang for the loss of 300000 yuan from July 29, 2010 to November 10, 2015.
In December 2017, Zhang and his wife applied to the West Lake court for enforcement. The West Lake court enforced the payment of 300000 yuan to Zhang and his wife in January 2018 and forcibly vacated them in July 2018.
Since then, the old house has finally calmed down.
