Most of Venice was flooded, with a water level of 187 cm

Many streets in Venice were flooded due to days of heavy rain. As of the morning of November 13, the highest water level had reached 187 cm, the highest value after 190 cm in 1966. According to Italian media reports, the water level of 140 cm means that more than half of Venice is flooded. St. Mark's Cathedral, built in 829, was flooded twice in 12 hours.
