On November 12 local time, the International Court of Sports Arbitration (CAS) released the specific time schedule for the hearing of the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) suing Sun Yang and fina. The hearing will be held in Montreux, Switzerland on November 15 local time. Wada proposed that Sun Yang accept a ban of at least two years and at most eight years because he refused to submit test samples.

The important time nodes of the hearing are as follows:

At 3 p.m. Beijing time on November 15, the hearing press room and public listening area were opened

At 4:05 p.m., the hearing officially began

At 4:15 p.m., witness Sun Yang appeared in court

At 5.45 p.m., the appellant's witnesses gave testimony

At 6:45 p.m., Wada witnesses gave testimony

At 12:35 a.m. Beijing time on November 16, all parties made closing statements

At 3 a.m., Sun Yang made a final statement

At 3:15 a.m., the court delivered its concluding remarks

The hearing ended at 3:30 a.m

As previously announced, the hearing results will not be announced immediately, and CAS said it was unable to give a specific time. Matthieu Reeb, Secretary General of CAS, may make a statement on the situation of the audio-visual conference, but he will not make any comments related to the case. Sun Yang also plans to make a brief statement after the hearing.

Under very limited reasons, the arbitral award issued by CAS can still be appealed to the Swiss Federal Administrative Tribunal for a period of 30 days.
