Fudan dismissed 12 graduate students, including more than foreign students

In the management of graduate student status in the second semester of Fudan University in 2018-2019 academic year, it was found that some graduate students did not graduate or graduate after the expiration of their study years. According to Article 41 of the regulations on student status management of Fudan University and Article 38 of the detailed rules for the implementation of graduate student status management of Fudan University, on October 10, 2019, after deliberation at the president's office meeting, it was decided to drop out of graduate students under the above circumstances (school approval Zi [2019] No. 251).

The school notifies the students by e-mail, telephone, mail and other means, but some graduate students are still unable to send the withdrawal decision by the above means. According to the requirements of order No. 41 of the Ministry of education, the graduate school decided to send the decision of withdrawal to the above students by means of publicity. The publicity period is 60 days, from October 25, 2019 to December 24, 2019 Beijing time. Upon expiration of the publicity period, it shall be deemed to have been delivered to me. The decision to drop out of school shall take effect from the date of service.

According to Article 50 of the regulations on the administration of student status of Fudan University and Article 14 of the regulations on the handling of student complaints of Fudan University, if the student is not satisfied with this handling decision, he shall submit an appeal application to the student appeal handling Committee and provide a copy of the handling decision within 10 days from the date of service of the handling decision.
