A 17-year-old boy in Thailand was addicted to video games all night. He died suddenly in front of the computer at home on the 4th. His father found him 10 hours later and caressed the corpse and cried bitterly.
The incident occurred in Wulong Prefecture in northern Thailand. The 17-year-old dead, alias Ike, attended a famous local private school with excellent results. After his father divorced his wife six years ago, he lived alone with his two sons. His eldest son Ike was clever and intelligent since childhood. He was recognized as a learning bully. His only disadvantage was that he was addicted to video games. As soon as he put down his books, he would jump on the computer desk and fight hard in the virtual world.
At noon on Monday (4th), when his father walked into Ike's bedroom, he found his son's body kneeling, face down, the computer indicator light flashing, and the screen displayed the page of the game.
The autopsy at Wulong Prefecture hospital showed that Ike died of heart failure at 2 or 3 a.m., 8 to 10 hours after the discovery.
