At 10:40 yesterday, the Beijing Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow gale warning: affected by the cold air, it is expected that from 3:00 to 21:00 on the 28th, there will be a northerly wind of about level 5 in most parts of Beijing, gusts of up to level 8 and 9, and sand blowing locally.
In short, the most obvious manifestation of the cold air this time is the strong wind. The wind started late last night and lasted until this afternoon, which will affect the morning peak. The average wind force is about level 5, and the gust wind force can reach level 8 and 9. The meteorological department said that the wind was super strong, which could cut off branches. Therefore, when traveling outdoors, pay attention to avoid billboards, dead trees and other objects, and be careful of falling objects.
However, the good news is that the temperature has not decreased significantly. The lowest temperature this morning is 5 ℃, and the lowest temperature tomorrow morning is 2 ℃; But the bad news is that under the influence of such a strong north wind, the wind chill effect is obvious, and the somatosensory temperature will be significantly lower than the temperature. At present, the cold air process has no effect of dust or rainfall.

The cold air comes back at the weekend

The tentacles of this cold air even reached the Jiangnan area, bringing some coolness to Hubei, Hunan and other areas.
The Central Meteorological Observatory predicted that from yesterday to 29, affected by the cold air, there were grade 4-6 winds and grade 7-9 gusts in the north of the Huaihe River, and grade 10 gusts in the central and Western Inner Mongolia, accompanied by sand and dust weather. The temperature in most of the above areas decreased by 4 ℃ - 6 ℃ and the local temperature decreased by 8 ℃ - 10 ℃; There will be light to moderate rain (snow) or sleet weather and local heavy snow in the Middle East and northeast of Inner Mongolia, and there will be a white wind (wind blown snow) in the central part of Inner Mongolia.
From October 31 to November 1, there will be an obvious cold air process in the eastern and northeast regions of North China. There will be grade 4-6 winds in the above regions, and the temperature will drop by 4 ℃ - 8 ℃.
