Ren Zhengfei thanked trump for his complete interview quotations

On October 24, Huawei Xinsheng community released the minutes of Ren Zhengfei's interview with Nordic media on October 15.

When talking about US President trump, Ren Zhengfei said that in fact, I am very grateful to trump, because after 30 years, most employees of Huawei have become rich. One kind of wealth disease is laziness and comfort. After a while, the company will collapse.

"Shenzhen is so good. Why go to places with malaria in Africa? Everyone will have this idea ', said Ren Zhengfei.

Ren Zhengfei mentioned that everyone was nervous when trump took a stick. We should work hard to produce and "farm". Instead of breaking down, the company's sales revenue increased. This is the result of everyone's efforts.

Ren Zhengfei told reporters that at this point, I don't think trump is bad. He frightened the company and everyone was afraid. I used to scare everyone, but my stick is not strong enough. Trump's stick is big. When I scare everyone, everyone really works hard.

In addition, Ren Zhengfei also said that if trump wanted to visit Huawei, he would hug trump.

"Just like your reporters, when you visit our exhibition hall, you are allowed to take photos. When the associated press visited, even the circuit board allowed them to shoot back. It doesn't matter. " Ren Zhengfei said, 'if you want to see my office, you're more welcome to see it, but it's not as beautiful as his office.'

The following is the actual record of the interview minutes:

Ren Zhengfei: Hello everyone! Welcome to our company. I will frankly accept the interviews of the media. Please ask questions and be sharp.

1. Ulrika Bergsten, Swedish state television: my question is not too sharp. Can you briefly introduce where the inspiration of this building comes from? Is there any meaning behind it? These European designs seem to take us back to France at the beginning of this century.

Ren Zhengfei: this building was designed by the Japanese. The interior decoration was completed by many companies and artists in Russia, Greece, China and Japan. After the architectural framework is designed, the lower floor is used as the exhibition hall of products and technology. After the customer visits, he comes up for a cup of coffee and chat. Architects put all kinds of imagination together to form such a complete building.

The xiliubeipo Village Park you visited this morning was also designed by the Japanese. The Japanese architect's name is Okamoto. He studied in the United States for his bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree. He can't speak English well. This European classic style scheme he designed was accepted by the jury, so it was built like this. This has nothing to do with the idea of our company.

2. Swedish state television Ulrika Bergsten: Although Huawei has established an international environment, the United States, Britain and even Sweden are passing legislation to restrict companies that may pose a security threat to their country from doing business in their country. What does this mean for Huawei and Sweden?

Ren Zhengfei: I very much support the EU's new digital sovereignty strategy. In the past, wealth was mainly material, so geopolitics was very important. Now is the information society, information has no boundary, digital sovereignty is very important. The new EU policy is to judge based on facts. All companies should promise not to do bad things in advance. Whether they have done bad things after the audit. If they have not violated, it is a good company that can survive in Europe. Of course, the European rules should be universal for all companies, not for Huawei. The EU assessment report on 5g network security risk may be promoted all over the world. I think this report is positive and good. We are not worried because we have never done bad things. No matter what the regulations are, we may get opportunities as long as we carefully review them.

3. Norwegian broadcasting company Philip lote: Huawei is now involved in two major international disputes. The first is the Sino US trade dispute, which also began to affect Europe. Second, Huawei is facing allegations that it may be used as a tool for espionage. Can you tell the Nordic people what Huawei's position is and how you intend to defend Huawei in these two major disputes?

Ren Zhengfei: first, the trade struggle between China and the United States has nothing to do with us, because we have no sales in the United States. No matter what the outcome of the Sino US trade negotiations is, it will have no impact on us.

Second, the United States has included us in the entity list, but now the vast majority of chips have realized the use of our own chips. But in the past, we restricted the use scale of self-developed chips and wanted to use more American chips in order to maintain friendly cooperation with American suppliers. Because American companies have been working well with us for the past 30 years, why don't we suddenly use their chips? When the U.S. government cut off supply to us, we started the large-scale use of self-developed chips. It was years of preparation, not sudden. The U.S. government believes that cutting off Huawei's supply is conducive to taking the initiative in the Sino-U.S. trade struggle. In fact, the U.S. government did not grasp the key, but weakened the sales scale of U.S. companies.

Third, on the issue of network security, Huawei faces accusations from the United States. However, we all know that these accusations are groundless. Historical facts have proved that Huawei is an honest company. Over the past 30 years, we have provided services to more than 170 countries and 3 billion people. So far, there has been no case of stealing other people's information. With regard to the untrue article of the Lithuanian Morning Post suggesting that the information leakage of the African Union headquarters is related to Huawei, the Lithuanian court has ordered the newspaper to publish a statement to clarify and apologize. We have used 30 years of history to prove Huawei's integrity to the Nordic people.

What will happen in the next 30 years? Yang Jiechi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the office of the Central Foreign Affairs Working Committee, stated at the Munich Security Conference that "Chinese equipment is not allowed to install back doors"; When answering reporters' questions after the National People's Congress, Premier Li Keqiang also said that "the installation of back doors is absolutely not allowed". Therefore, in terms of policy, we will not do this; In terms of interests, as long as we do it once, the whole world will know that the commercial credit we have established in the past 30 years has collapsed, and the employees have run away. I want to repay tens of billions of bank loans myself. I will never do it in terms of motivation. Therefore, we promise the Nordic people that we respect the digital sovereignty of Nordic countries and will not infringe upon their sovereignty.

Fourth, what has the final say of a car manufacturer, has the final say of the car, rather than the car manufacturer. After we sell communication equipment to telecom operators, the operators actually control the data, and the local government controls the data. Huawei does not control the data, so we have no possibility of stealing data. We firmly support digital sovereignty.

Therefore, the United States' accusation against us does not exist. The United States has not produced evidence so far. It is just speculation. Speculation does not represent facts.

4. Norwegian broadcasting company Philip lote: Norway is an ally of the United States and a member of NATO. It is facing pressure from the United States. Recently, telia, Norway's second largest operator, decided to let Ericsson build its 5g network. Telenor, Norway's largest operator and an important customer of Huawei, will make a 5g decision later this year. Do you think telia's decision is based on network quality and speed, or is it influenced by political factors?

Ren Zhengfei: we can understand how customers make decisions. Just like when we go to the store to buy clothes, which one do we choose? I think you should choose this one, but the customer chose another. Therefore, different people like different clothes. What a customer likes should represent his wishes. With so many operators around the world, it is impossible for all operators to like Huawei. We haven't done it in the past, let alone in conflict now.

Philip lote: do you mean that telia's decision is not affected by the current political environment?

Ren Zhengfei: because I'm not their decision-making level, I don't know whether they have been affected. So far, we have 60 5g contracts, and 400000 base stations have been shipped, which is still growing. One or two customers don't use our equipment and can't represent the views of a large number of customers on us.

5. Juha Matti mantyla, Finnish National Public Service Broadcasting Company: you just mentioned briefly that Huawei has the ability to achieve self-sufficiency. How does Huawei achieve self-sufficiency? In which areas does Huawei's self-sufficiency do well, and in which areas do it feel the impact and difficulties brought by the entity list?

Ren Zhengfei: objectively speaking, Huawei should not be greatly affected by the United States in the communication field. The United States focuses on 5g and the core network & hellip& hellip;, Now we can tell you from 5g to the core network & hellip& hellip; In the field of communication, not only is there no recession this year, but it is expected to grow slightly. The communication industry represented by 5g is also growing, which is less affected by the United States.

What affects us is the terminal. If the United States does not open Google's ecology to us, it will be affected in overseas markets.

In terms of intelligent computing, we are also working hard. We still have a little gap with the United States and need to catch up.

Juha Matti mantyla: if the current division continues, what impact do you think it will have on the industry? Does Huawei have the ability to build another ecosystem that can compete with Google?

Ren Zhengfei: we are still very friendly with Google. Even if we want to establish an ecosystem, we are not competing with Google. If the ecology of apple, Google and Huawei appears in the world, it is conducive to social progress and development. We don't take who as an imaginary enemy to compete. We don't have this concept.

6. Danish broadcasting company Philip Khokhar: you made it clear before that if the Chinese government asked Huawei to carry out espionage, you would close the company. I am very curious about such an answer. In practice, how can you do it? How can you shut down Huawei and ensure that Huawei is not accepted by the state after it is shut down?

Ren Zhengfei: the Chinese government has never asked. Because the Chinese government did not know that the network could have a back door at first, and because the US government kept fabricating rumors to crack down on Huawei, the Chinese government began to pay more and more attention to network security. In this regard, China has experienced a growth process.

We have accepted the strictest audit in the UK. The people who audit our company in the UK are world-class senior technical experts. After the audit, they believe that we have no active and malicious network security problems, and that our software quality needs to be improved. The UK has given us great trust, so we have made great business development in the UK in the past decade; We also believe that the UK has established a network security certification center in the UK.

Philip Khokhar: if the Chinese government makes this appeal to Huawei, even if you are a strong leader, how can you say 'no' to the Chinese government?

Ren Zhengfei: Yang Jiechi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and office of the Central Foreign Affairs Working Committee, was in Munich
