Golden Globe Award selection rules
The golden ball award is selected and awarded by French football magazine. The 30 candidates are selected by the editorial department of French football magazine, and then the jury votes for the final winner. The jury consists of professional journalists from all over the world, with one representative from each country.
Selection criteria of Golden Globe Award:
1. Personal performance and honors received in the past year (individual and collective);
2. Talent and fair competition spirit of players;
3. Player's career.
Each assessor will vote for 5 players in the 30 candidate list in priority order. The players who get the vote will get 6 points, 4 points, 3 points, 2 points and 1 point in order of votes.
