Boudoir Dan is a branch of drama Dan Xing, which is different from New Year's Day (Qingyi), that is, the girls who have not been released from the cabinet, or the girls of a big family, or the Jasper of a small family. Characteristics of boudoir Dan
First, dress. Except for some introverted boudoirs, they wear long shirts (called pleats and skirts in the play), mostly short clothes, or skirts, jackets, or pants and jackets. In particular, sharp eyes, dexterity in waist, legs and feet are the most important. Singing is supplemented, and dancing is essential. In case of Assassin Dan, jumping Kung Fu is also indispensable.
Huadan, which originated in Yuan Dynasty zaju, mostly plays enthusiastic and resourceful women, such as Zhao Pan'er in Guan Hanqing's saving the wind and dust. Later, in Kunshan opera, it is called "Tiedan". In Kunqu Opera (Drama), there are still "one, two, three, four, five, six and Tiedan". That is, laodan, Zhengdan, joking Dan, naughty Dan, assassin Dan, boudoir Dan and Tiedan. Tiedan also plays doll students, such as The river flow monk (i.e. the young Tang Sanzang) in recognizing the son is one of them.
In the Qing Dynasty, Qin opera actor Wei Changsheng came to Beijing to introduce Qiaogong (i.e. tying wooden feet to simulate foot binding walking), which has become a stunt in Huadan's performance. The famous guest who is good at performing Huadan in recent times is Xun Huisheng, the founder of the "Xun school" in the "four famous dans" of Beijing opera, and Xiao Cuihua (formerly Yu Lianquan), who created the "Xiao school".

In Taihe Zhengyin spectrum & middot; twelve Branches of Zaju written by Zhu Quan in the 31st year of Hongwu of the Ming Dynasty, Huadan Zaju is listed as "fireworks and powder", which fully shows that Huadan is mainly a type of prostitute. Zhao Pan'er in "Zhao Pan'er saves the wind and the moon" is a typical example of Huadan.
After several dynasties, Huadan has become a common character model of various local operas in China, such as Han Opera, Kun Opera, Beijing Opera and Guangdong opera.
Its shape emphasizes reading and dispersing white, doing work and expression, and does not sing hard, but requires the singing to be beautiful, sensitive and clever. Typical characters include Yelu Hanyan in the Vatican Palace, Yin Bilian in Shaohua mountain, Zhou Fengying in Xin'an Yi, etc.
