Rent clearing problem

Land is the root of all problems.
In 1959, due to the need of border defense, the Agricultural Reclamation Bureau of Foshan special district established Shahe farm in Shahe five villages. This year, the Shenzhen Special Zone implemented rural urbanization, and each village established joint-stock companies, and farmers became shareholders. However, the villagers of Shahe five villages only get urban hukou, and other policies have not been fulfilled. Farmers who lose their land can't farm, they can only 'farm buildings' on the homestead. In the memory of the villagers, Baishizhou had three peaks of 'building planting'. The first was the demolition of tile roofed houses in the 1980s, and the second was the demolition of ancestral houses around 1992 and the construction of three or four storey buildings. However, due to the failure to form their own collective economy, the living standard of the villagers in Shahe five village is far behind that of the nearby Dachong village. From 2003 to 2007, Baishizhou villagers have been petitioning, from the city to the province and to the central government. The villagers' appeal is to return their own land.
With the take-off of Shenzhen, Baishizhou, standing next to Shennan Avenue, is more and more inconsistent with the image of Shenzhen. Baishizhou is separated by the luxury residence area of OCT, Nanshan Science and Technology Park in the West and happy valley and the window of the world in the East. Compared with the rapid development of the surrounding areas, this is a corner forgotten by time.
In 2004, news of the old reform came from Baishizhou, but the old reform could not be promoted because many historical problems were pending. On December 31, 2009, breakthrough progress was made in the problems left over by history in Shahe five village. 81600 square meters of the 146900 square meters of industrial land in this area was owned by the Nanshan government to solve the problems left over by history. Nanshan District decided to hand over relevant land and assets to Baishizhou Investment Development Co., Ltd. for management and income.
After the collective land was bagged as an, Baishizhou was approved to be included in the urban renewal unit plan of Shenzhen in July 2014. In June 2017, Nanshan Administration Bureau of Shenzhen Municipal Commission of planning and land resources publicized the draft urban renewal unit plan of Shahe five villages.
