On September 18, Taobao app recently launched a hot search function on their home page, and 50% of users can see this hot search list. In the current hot search list, Jay Chou released a new song event, 'my Asian king has finally released a song!' Ranked first.
It is understood that these hot searches are based on consumers' search on Taobao. Click these hot searches to see relevant product recommendations, and the hot search will also be updated in real time according to the heat.
Previously, there was news that Taobao was suspected of gradually opening the member name renaming service. Then, Taobao's official website responded to the matter, saying that Taobao's member name could not be modified for the time being.
Taobao explained in the announcement that Taobao member name (i.e. Taobao ID) is the only identification basis for users on Taobao. It can't support modification temporarily. What can be modified independently is Taobao nickname.
However, this is different from the customer service related dialogue released by netizens before. I don't know whether there is a deviation in the understanding of customer service or whether the function has not been made public yet.
