An American man invented an air water generator to bring clean water to people who are short of water, CNN reported on the 17th.
It is reported that the machine designed by West in San Antonio, Texas can convert moisture in the air into water. The principle of the equipment is similar to that mentioned in the schoolbook. Just as a small amount of water mist will be generated when people breathe into the window, the machine makes water through compressed air. The higher the temperature outside the machine, the higher the water production efficiency.
West said that the Bahamas had just experienced hurricane Dorian, and many areas had no electricity or running water, so his machine could come in handy.
At present, the machine is running in Flint, Michigan. Due to the cooling weather, the machine currently extracts about 1200 gallons of water per day (about 3.8 liters per gallon), which can meet the water needs of more than 2000 people. If in the tropical climate of the Bahamas, he expects to extract more water.
