Shanghai Disneyland food rules what food can Shanghai Disneyland bring

From now on, Shanghai Disneyland Resort has officially implemented the new food carrying regulations of its theme park. Tourists can bring their own food and drinks into Shanghai Disneyland, but they are not allowed to bring food that needs to be heated, reheated, processed, refrigerated or insulated and food with pungent smell.

Foods that cannot be brought into the park include (but are not limited to): instant noodles that need to be heated for consumption, foods with self heating function, watermelon (a whole watermelon that needs to be cut with a knife), durian, stinky tofu, etc.

Tourists will continue to bring bottled water and beverages into the park. More than 50 direct drinking water supply points and more than 20 hot water supply points throughout the park will also continue to provide tourists with cold and hot water for free. Alcoholic beverages, cans and glass containers will still be prohibited from entering the park (except canned food for small infants). For tourists who need to deposit personal belongings that cannot be brought into the park, the resort has launched a deposit service of 10 yuan / piece per day.

Visitors can enjoy their own food and drinks in the designated picnic area in the park, but they need to abide by the garbage classification guidelines and jointly maintain a clean and tidy park environment.

Bao zhaotian, vice president of operation Department of Shanghai Disneyland Resort, said that the catering experience is a vital part of Disney's iconic story telling experience, and the immersive dining experience inspired by Disney friends and stories is also a magical part of Shanghai Disneyland Resort. From the theme restaurants in each park to the creative and beautifully presented food and beverage choices, the resort provides rich Chinese, Asian and Western cuisine for tourists with different tastes and budgets, and always adheres to a strict quality assurance system. The catering team of the resort will continue to strengthen the diversified supply of food in the park, add more food of different varieties, tastes and prices, and provide tourists with richer catering choices.

Visitors can also go to Disney Town, which provides many catering options. Close to Shanghai Disneyland, Disney town has a series of well-known brand restaurants. Visitors holding tickets to Shanghai Disneyland can leave and return to the park at any time and many times on the day of visiting the park at no additional cost. Visitors can enter the park again after dining in Disney town.

According to relevant laws and regulations and the guidance of government departments, all tourists and their carry on luggage must undergo safety inspection before entering Shanghai Disneyland. Visitors need to follow the guidance of the performers to conduct safety inspection procedures. All personal carry on luggage must be checked, and all tourists need to pass through metal detectors.

Bao zhaotian said that ensuring the safety of all tourists and performers is the primary principle of all work in Shanghai Disneyland Resort. The safety inspection procedures of the resort are based on more than 60 years of operation experience of Disneyland around the world, and each disney resort destination is implementing similar safety inspection procedures every day.

In order to minimize the impact of security inspection on the tourist experience, the resort team will immediately implement a more friendly and humanized security inspection process and service. It is suggested that tourists can open their bags during security inspection. If required by security inspection personnel, tourists can take out suspicious items by themselves and put them back after inspection.

In the future, the resort will further optimize the security inspection process by means of security inspection equipment such as X-ray machines and auxiliary manual services.
