On August 27, Korean media jtbc reported that the medal design of the recently unveiled Tokyo Paralympic Games was reminiscent of the rising sun flag. Although the designers and organizers said that the medal took the fan as the theme and symbolized "condensing people's hearts and injecting new wind into the world", similar patterns have appeared in the competition clothes of Japanese athletes for many times. Relevant South Korean departments will formally protest to the International Paralympic Committee.
