4) check the baby's joints
If the baby's arms, legs, hands and feet move freely, there is no fracture in these parts. If there is swelling and deformation in a certain part of the baby's limbs, and he cries when he moves, it is a fracture. Fix the fracture site immediately and take the baby to the hospital.
5) check the skin
Check if there is any trauma, if so, see if bandage is needed to stop bleeding, and then go to the hospital for treatment. In most cases, there will only be traces of cyanosis on the skin, which is usually subcutaneous hemorrhage, and simple ecchymosis can be absorbed by itself in about 3 days.
6) observe the baby's mental state
Mom should pay attention to the observation of the baby. If there is no abnormality in eating, drinking, playing and sleeping, you can rest assured.
Prevention:
1) after the baby turns over, make sure to let the baby sleep on the bed with guardrail.
2) do not put any sharp and fragile articles near the bed, let alone hot water bottles, rice cookers, etc.
3) it is better to lay a carpet on the ground beside the bed to prevent it from hitting the hard floor directly after falling.
4) don't let the baby move in the space with height more than 2 feet, otherwise the probability of head fracture will be higher after falling.
