This year, a total of 154 universities in China were listed, an increase of 8 universities over last year. Among the shortlisted schools, 66 universities entered the top 500 and 4 universities entered the top 100, namely Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhejiang University and Shanghai Jiaotong University.

It is worth noting that Shanghai Jiaotong University ranks among the global top 100 for the first time, ranking 82nd in the world. It is also the fourth Chinese University to enter the global top 100 after Tsinghua University, Peking University and Zhejiang University.
