The 2019 FINA World Championships was held in Gwangju, South Korea from July 12 to July 28. The competition is divided into six major events: swimming, diving, water polo, art swimming, open water swimming and high-altitude diving.

The 2019 FINA World Championships ended all competitions on the closing day. The Chinese team won 30 medals, including 16 gold medals, 11 silver medals and 3 bronze medals, ranking first in the medal list.
