The license plate number may not be changed, but the following conditions shall be met:

Article 52 of the provisions on motor vehicle registration (order 124) of the Ministry of Public Security stipulates that the application for the use of the original motor vehicle number plate shall meet the following conditions:

（2） The owner of the motor vehicle has owned the original motor vehicle for more than three years;
（3） The handling of road traffic safety violations and traffic accidents involving original motor vehicles has been completed.
