Since September 1, 2013, the railway department has adjusted the train ticket refund and ticket change methods, and implemented the train ticket echelon Refund Scheme at the same time. The official website of China Railway Corporation issued the notice on matters related to ticket change and refund. During the Spring Festival transportation in 2014, if the railway department changes the ticket due to passengers and the travel date of the ticket after the change is from January 16 to February 24, 2014, the refund fee shall be charged according to 20% of the ticket price.
Introduction to refund
1. Before the train starts at the departure station or under special circumstances, all fares can be refunded within two hours after the train starts; Group passengers must return the connecting ticket and round-trip ticket at the ticket purchase place 5 days before the train at the turn back or transfer place. When returning some unused tickets at the turn back or transfer place, it shall be handled in accordance with Item 1 of this article.
2. The passenger cannot refund the ticket after starting the journey, but if he cannot continue the journey due to injury or illness, the difference between the collected fare and the taken interval fare can be refunded after being confirmed by the midway interval station and the train. If the occupied section is less than the minimum mileage, it shall be calculated according to the minimum mileage, and the peers shall handle the same.
3. When returning the ticket with line stamp, the baggage change formalities shall be handled first.
4. Platform tickets are non refundable. The refund measures for suburban tickets, regular tickets and fixed tickets shall be determined by the railway transportation enterprise.
Refund method
In order to facilitate passengers to handle the ticket refund procedures of the real name system and prevent ticket dealers from reselling tickets by using the refund link, the Railway Bureau has adjusted the ticket refund method of the real name system. The New Measures stipulate that as of March 1, 2001:
(1) When the passenger handles the ticket refund procedures, he / she shall present the ticket and the original of the valid ID card used during ticket purchase; If you are unable to produce the original of your valid ID card, you should go through the ticket refund procedures after handling the temporary ID card at the railway public security certificate making port of the station.
Refund time
Before driving at the departure station, under special circumstances, all fares can be refunded and refunded within 2 hours after driving. Group passengers must check in 48 hours before driving. If you purchase tickets online and have not exchanged paper tickets, you can also log in to the website no later than 2 hours before driving to go through the refund procedures.
Article 49 If the passenger's ticket is refunded due to the carrier's responsibility, the following provisions shall apply, and no refund fee shall be charged
1. At the departure station, all fares will be refunded.
2. At the midway station, the difference between the fare received and the fare of the section taken will be refunded. If the section taken is less than the minimum mileage, all the fare will be refunded.
3. At the arrival station, the difference between the collected fare and the used fare will be refunded. If the unused part is less than the minimum mileage, it shall be calculated as the minimum mileage.
4. If the air-conditioned train cannot be repaired during operation due to air-conditioning equipment failure, the air-conditioned fare of the unused section shall be refunded.
Article 50 in case of line interruption, if a passenger requests a refund, he / she shall refund all the ticket prices at the departure station (including those who interrupt the transportation station and return to the departure station), and refund the difference between the collected ticket price and the interval ticket price at the midway station without a refund fee, but the part collected due to the price increase and the ticket used to the arrival station shall not be refunded.
