Henan plans to recruit 100 special education teachers. Conditions for special education teachers

on June 27, Henan Provincial Department of Education announced that in 2019, Henan will recruit 3000 primary education (general education teachers) majors. Since this year, we have implemented targeted recruitment of special education teachers, and arranged 100 undergraduate programs for special education majors.

According to the Department of education of Henan Province, targeted enrollment will continue to be implemented for primary education (general education teachers) majors at the undergraduate and junior college levels in 2019. At the same time, starting this year, targeted recruitment of special education teachers will be implemented to accelerate the construction of rural primary schools and special education teachers. This year, Henan Province plans to recruit 1000 undergraduate level primary education (general education teachers) majors and 2000 junior level primary education (general education teachers) majors. Colleges and universities will make overall arrangements within the total scale of the general enrollment plan approved in that year. They are all normal students, and the plan category is local free normal students. 100 undergraduate students are arranged for special education (their enrollment, training and employment shall be implemented with reference to the training policy for general teachers in primary schools).

Among them, 7 normal universities, including Xinyang Normal University, Luoyang Normal University, Zhoukou Normal University, Shangqiu Normal University, Anyang Normal University, Nanyang Normal University and Zhengzhou normal university, undertake the task of directional enrollment at the undergraduate level of primary education (general teachers) in 2019; Nanyang Normal University, Zhengzhou normal university, Jiaozuo normal college and other three normal universities undertake the task of targeted enrollment at the professional level of primary education (general teachers) in 2019; Zhengzhou normal university is the university undertaking the task of targeted enrollment at the undergraduate level of special education in 2019.

According to relevant policies, after enrollment, students sign formal targeted training and employment agreements with county (city) people's governments (counties and cities with posts) and training universities, and promise to engage in education and teaching in rural teaching points and special education schools for no less than 6 years after graduation.

During the period of school training, in addition to exempting tuition and accommodation fees and giving certain living subsidies, students can enjoy relevant policies enjoyed by full-time students such as national scholarships. After graduation, students will be employed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the targeted training employment agreement (no longer participate in the recruitment and teaching examination).
