LETV's general manager resigned and the board of directors accepted his resignation application

in the afternoon of June 14, LETV (300104. SZ) announced that the board of directors received the resignation report of director, general manager and chief financial officer Zhang Wei on June 14. As of the date of this announcement, Zhang Wei does not hold LETV shares. According to the announcement, Zhang Wei was originally scheduled to serve until October 14, 2021.

LETV said that Zhang Wei's resignation will cause the number of members of the board of directors to be lower than the minimum quorum. Therefore, his resignation of directors will take effect after the election of new directors at the general meeting of shareholders. Before that, Zhang Wei will continue to perform his duties as a director in accordance with relevant regulations.

According to the announcement, during the period when the new general manager and chief financial officer are not formally appointed, Liu Yanfeng, chairman of the board, shall perform the duties of general manager and chief financial officer on behalf of him.

Earlier, on May 24, LETV announced that Liu Shuqing, chairman of the company, resigned. At the same time, the board of directors elected Liu Yanfeng as the new chairman. In October 2018, LETV announced that Liu Shuqing was elected chairman for a three-year term.
